My wife and I recently looked for Turkish cuisine in Sydney as part of our ongoing effort to introduce our children to various cultures through their food. Traditional meats tend to come from animals given hormones and treated with antibiotics, which add to the resistance that people have developed over the years that can prove to be dangerous if that medicine is necessary to treat a serious condition.
By deciding to make the move to organic foods, parents are reducing the risks their babies face in the long run by limiting their exposure. It is not unlike what parents have done since the beginning of time when raising their kids and protecting them as they grow, it is just now focused on the food that they eat. Going organic can take some time getting used to since it can be more work and costs more money, but many parents find that it is a worthwhile change that greatly aids their baby’s development.
